Susan & Colin’s Cambridge Ontario Wedding

In the intimate, stunning Ellis Chapel in Cambridge Ontario, Susan and Colin tied the knot with smiles and  laughter filling the entire day.  Finishing the evening off with their reception at the rustic Old Marina Restaurant, everyone felt like they had escaped to the Northern Muskokas with incredible views of the sunset on the lake. Some words from Susan & Colin!

“Colin and I met in Feb 2009 through eHarmony. I lived in Ottawa and he lived in Waterloo. I was moving back to my home town of Cambridge in April so I put my profile in the Cambridge Kitchener area.  It didn’t take long for us to see each other’s profiles which were almost identical in every sense except one category which about the last book you read. He wrote Crossing Over by John Edward and I wrote Cosmopolitan magazine. I quickly changed my book to a well known psychic medium which grabbed his attention. That was it, we began exchanging questions and within a month we had our first date.

Colin proposed to me in November 2014 while we were on a trip to Banff half way up Sulphur Mountain and it was perfect.   I began planning our wedding soon after we got back. I found the website The Wedding Ring which was so helpful in selecting alot of the companies and people involved in our wedding day.   Reading all the real time reviews really helped me in my decision making for who we wanted to hire.

We found Captured Soul Photography on there and the reviews were awesome so we met with Michelle and we booked her about a year before the wedding. She did our engagement photos in May and they were fantastic. She was so easy to work with and let us incorporate our dogs which are our fur children and our convertible which is our fun summer car.  I couldn’t wait to see how our wedding pics would turn out.

We were married at Ellis Chapel in Cambridge which is a quaint little historic chapel on a quiet country road.  I hired a harpist to play for our wedding ceremony.  Our reception was at The Old Marina Restaurant downstairs at Dockside.  The whole day was so perfect and Michelle captured such awesome shots of our entire day from the salon in the morning to the end of the night.  She is a true professional and knew exactly when to step in and help out including helping me change out of my wedding dress into something more comfortable later in the evening.

We absolutely love our brag book, it just brings the whole day back and how much fun we had. Our day was very easy going and our guests really enjoyed themselves. Being on the water and having the fire pits going at our reception made you feel like you were miles away but in reality we were in our own back yard.”
